More than cutting grass and watching games

Days start early and end late for baseball groundskeepers. While the payoff is watching games, there are hours of work that are unseen by fans that go into making ballparks ready for baseball.

COM 360’s Matt Russ talked to Peoria Chiefs Head Groundskeeper Noel Brusius to see what goes into getting a minor league baseball field ready for a game.

The online graphic could be made interactive by linking video clips to each of the tasks groundskeepers perform. Other graphics could pop up to show what areas of the field the grounds crew would work on at different times.
